1. Introduction

Welcome to Afri Foods Basket. By using our website or placing an order you agree to these Terms & Conditions. They apply to everyone who visits or buys from afrifoodsbasket.com. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

2. Our products

We sell 1pFoods pounded yam flour made from Benue yams. We work to keep quality high, but natural products vary a little: the color of the flour, its texture and the look of the packaging can differ slightly from batch to batch. Pictures are for illustration.

Products marked “coming soon” are not for sale yet. Joining a launch list or pressing “Notify me” is not an order and does not reserve stock, and we cannot promise a launch date or price.

3. Orders and payment

All prices are in US dollars. Your order is an offer to buy; it is accepted when we confirm it by email or ship it. Orders are subject to availability, and we may cancel or refuse an order, for example if a product is out of stock, a price was shown in error or we suspect fraud. If we cancel an order you have paid for, we will refund you in full. Payment is taken at checkout by our payment provider, and orders are processed once payment is complete.

4. Discount codes and Subscribe & save

A discount code can be used as stated when it was issued and may not be combined with other offers unless we say so. Subscribe & save gives 10% off the packs you choose: every 4 weeks we email you a link to reorder in one click at the subscriber price. Nothing is charged until you check out, and you can skip, pause or cancel from that link at any time.

5. Shipping and delivery

We ship to the continental United States. Delivery times are estimates, and delays can happen because of carriers or events outside our control. Full details, including when shipping is free, are on our Shipping & Returns page.

6. Returns and refunds

Our returns and refunds policy is set out on the Shipping & Returns page and forms part of these terms. Because this is food, opened items cannot be returned. If something arrives damaged or wrong, contact us within 48 hours and we will put it right.

7. Allergens and product information

Our pounded yam flour is made only from yam. Always read the ingredient and allergen information printed on the pack before you use a product, especially if you have a food allergy or intolerance.

8. Using the website

Please use the site lawfully. Do not attempt to interfere with it, to gain access to areas you are not meant to see, to use automated tools to place orders or collect data, or to submit false information. We may suspend accounts that break these rules.

9. Reviews and messages

If you send us a review or message, you allow us to display it on the site. We may edit or remove reviews that are abusive, off-topic or not genuine. Please only review products you have bought.

10. Intellectual property

The text, photographs, design and branding on this website belong to Afri Foods Basket or the owners who license them to us, and may not be copied or reused without permission. 1pFoods is the brand of the flour we sell.

11. Limits on our liability

We are responsible for our products and services as the law requires, and nothing in these terms limits rights you have that cannot be limited by law. Beyond that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from the use of the website or our products, and our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page when you place an order is the one that applies to that order.
