Who we are

Afri Foods Basket (“we”, “us”) runs the online store at afrifoodsbasket.com, where we sell 1pFoods pounded yam flour to customers across the United States. Information we collect

• Details you give us: your name, email address, phone number and shipping and billing address when you place an order, create an account, join our launch list, ask us to notify you about a product, request wholesale prices or send us a message.
• Order information: what you bought, when, how much you paid and where it was sent.
• Payment information: card details are entered on our payment provider’s secure form and are processed by them. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
• Usage information: technical data such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you view and the date and time of your visit.
• Reviews and messages: anything you write to us or in a product review.

Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies. Some are essential to run the store (they keep your basket and your sign-in working). Others, such as those that help us understand how the site is used, only run if you allow them in the cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings button in the footer.

How we use your information

• To take, deliver and support your orders, including emails about your order.
• To send a single “it’s here” email when a product you asked about becomes available, and any launch-list message you signed up for.

We send marketing emails only if you have asked for them, and every one has an unsubscribe link.

Who we share it with

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share only what is needed with the companies that help us run the store: our payment provider, shipping carriers, and the email and hosting services we use. They may use your information only to provide their service to us. We may also disclose information when the law requires it or to protect our rights.

Keeping your information safe

How long we keep it

Children

Our store is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
